Sadsbury Commons Development Construction Underway at US 30 and PA 10 in Sadsbury Township
Construction is currently underway at and around the intersection of US 30 and PA 10 in Sadsbury Township. All of the roadway work currently under construction is being completed by the applicant for the Sadsbury Commons commercial development, located on the southeast corner of the intersection of US 30 and PA 10. The current roadway construction includes site access improvements, widening along US 30 and PA 10, as well as the provision of a connector road through the development, which are required by Sadsbury Commons in accordance with their municipal land development and PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit approvals.
None of the current construction activity is associated with PennDOT’s US 30 Reconstruction Program. Within PennDOT’s project, the preferred alternative has been selected for the Western Terminus/PA 10 area and the project is currently in the Preliminary Engineering phase. Upon completion of Preliminary Engineering, the project will move to Final Design and Right-of-Way Acquisition, and only then will it proceed to contractor bidding and construction.
